The price for diamonds of the same carat and size can be very different. 
1,0 carat stone that is not too yellow or brown can approximately be worth anything between
10 000 SEK and 200 000 SEK.

The four C factors and choosing the right diamond

When you choose a diamond you need to consider  4 C factors -
1.Carat
2 Color
3 Clarity
4 Cut
 These determine your price!


1. Carat
Carats are the weight of the stone.
1 carat equals 0,2 grams (200 milligrams).

2. Color
 We at Wallin Jewels only use the GIA system,
because it's more accurate and precise.
GIA measures color from D (the finest and most colorless
to Z (the lowest rated color)
Color D to I.J is white.

3: Clarity measures a diamond's purity!
The finest level of clarity is called flawless (FL)
The lowest but can be good is VS2

4: The cut is the most important thing when it comes to Diamonds.

5: Aside from the four C's,
there is also a relatively new way to measure diamonds – fluorescence.
When measuring fluorescence, you illuminate the diamond
with ultra-violet light to see how much it reflects.
One diamond with Strong comparing None has a lower price.
